Tradition and Innovation

It was in the 1958 when FRAID DISCHI, under Luciano Raineri, began production of metals polishing discs, in premises underneath his home in Sabbio Chiese near Brescia, using fabrics derived from military clothing and second-quality cottons purchased by weight. The processing was by hand and the produced discs were intended for roughing and finishing metals using manual machines.

In 1985, his son Giuseppe, current Director, took over the company and FRAID DISCHI began to expand its market, focusing on production of a range of products for the treatment of metallic surface and the acquisition of new national and international customers.

Growth was constant and continual, stimulated by commerce in new products for automation, robotization and the purchase of new machinery and equipment to complete the production range for the treatment of the metallic surface.

Our Mission

We have the purpose to ensure its customers specific consulting for production optimization and ensure the production of discs for the treatment of metallic surface based on the effective requirements of the individual company, in relation to market and to resources.

Customers satisfaction is the main purpose that we follow with all our energies, collecting suggestions and indications by the same ones, in order to create a final product that is able to be perfectly compatible with the requirements of the customer.

Our company tries not to put limits on its expansion, a feature which over the years has allowed us to grow year after year, expanding our plant in Sabbio Chiese and increasing “family Fraid” through the inclusion of new staff and advanced machinery, required for the production of new types of discs for the treatment of metallic surface.
